อรดี อินทร์คง

I am a doctoral candidate at Cornell University in the Department of Anthropology. My dissertation explores the making of diasporic music by ethnic Shan migrants living in Thailand. I conducted ethnographic field work in Chiang Mai, Thailand and Shan State, Myanmar tobetter understand the role of sounds and music in constructing and re-defining the meaning of home(s) as a crucial part of the Shan diasporic consciousness.
